What is Dropshipping?
A dropshipper is a manufacturer or authorized wholesale distributor who will ship your single-item orders directly to your customers. You will put the product pictures on your website at retail cost and wait for an order. Once you receive an order you will email or call the dropship supplier with the customer's order information and they will in turn ship the product directly to your customer.

A Tax ID allows you to collect Sales Tax from your customers. If someone purchases a product from your website in your state, you will need to collect sales tax. If someone outside of your state purchases one of your products, you do not need to collect sales tax.

The best place to start when registering your business name is at your local County Clerk's office, or County Courthouse. Some states do this at the State Government. If it's handled at the state level where you are, your County clerk will refer you to the correct place.

Is a Wholesaler the Same as a DropShipper?
Not always. Many wholesalers do not participate in dropshipping. Some are into dropshipping, but require minimum order quantities. There are some wholesalers who will do single item dropshipping

Some states use your Social Security number as your Tax ID number, but you can not just start using your Social Security number as your Tax ID. You have to go through the State Sales and Use Tax registration process in your State.

When you receive an order, your bank will be credited the amount of that order plus shipping. You will receive an email of the transaction and you will then send that email to your dropshipper. They will ship the product for you and will then charge you the difference of the product. You make the difference between the wholesale price and the retail price.

Yes, the dropshippers will send you pictures and descriptions of their products. They will either give you permission to download the images off of their website or they will send you a catalog in CD form.

After the purchase is made you have the access to the directory. You then can browse and search for your desired drop shipper. Please remember, our directory is large, however there are no drop shippers for some product ideas. There simply is not enough money in some products to make it worth the time of everyone involved. However, we are confident that you can still find many companies that you will enjoy working with.

Sure, as long as it's ok with suppliers and payment processors. For the most part, most companies don't care where you live as long as you conduct your business properly. The days of only the big multi-national corporations being able to sell in other countries has changed with the Internet. We don't track the product prices of the Suppliers. If we could we would, but to be honest, it is very difficult to keep track of all the product prices from our distributors as there are millions of products and prices change frequently. That is why after you are a member you can have access to the distributors direct website to find the latest prices.

NO. If you plan on reselling products and need brochures, flyers, and/or pictures, simply contact the suppliers directly for the most recent copy of the products that interest you. They can provide you with everything you need. Most everything can usually be found on a company's website.

NO, we do not earn commissions of what you sell through a drops shipping company. We only compile and list Manufacturers, Distributors, and Master Wholesale Suppliers, who get a free listing if they meet our criteria.
